2013: A Year to Remember at Olson Visual
It is the beginning of a new year and we look back at 2013 with a Variety International Corporate Award and having worked on some of the most talked about shows. This includes: Under the Mexican Sky: Gabriel Figueroa Art and Film at LACMA, the Anne Frank exhibition at the Museum of Tolerance, and the J. Paul Getty Museum’s Overdrive (which won the Charles Redd Award).
Under the Mexican Sky: Gabriel Figueroa Art and Film at the Los County Museum of Art is an historical insight into Mexico’s film genre and Olson Visual was picked to help visually enhance it. Here are some images of Olson Visual installing an amazing window graphic. http://olsonvisual.com/gabriel-figueroa-art-and-film-at-lacma/
OV was awarded a Variety International Corporate Award for their support of the Children’s Charity of Southern California. Rick Olson, President of OV, accepted the award on May 2nd at the Variety World Conference Awards Luncheon held at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. http://olsonvisual.com/olson-visual-was-awarded-a-variety-international-corporate-award/
Olson Visual’s presence was clear throughout the exhibition of Anne Frank at the Museum of Tolerance. Check out our images from this show that includes our detailed backlit graphics to other larger installations. http://olsonvisual.com/anne-franks-legacy-at-the-museum-of-tolerance/
Olson Visual worked on Pacific Standard Time’s Overdrive at the J. Paul Getty Museum. This show won the prestigious Charles Redd Award, an award that represents the best in exhibition excellence. http://olsonvisual.com/ov-worked-on-2013-charles-redd-awad-j-paul-getty-museums-overdrive/
