Olson Visual was honored to receive the Los Angeles Architectural Award for Interior Public Space. They were commended for the exhibition A+D Museum’s Never Built Los Angeles. Our own Eder Cetina accepted this distinction as one of main key people involved.
“The Los Angeles Architectural Awards Mission: Uniting the power of business with the power of government for education and advocacy to promote environmental and economic sustainability.”
The 43rd Annual Los Angeles Architectural Awards honored architect Ray Kappe, co-founder of SCI-Arc, along with nearly three dozen winning entries that show the best of spatial design in the LA region. There was a focus on sustainability and community impact this year. This event also announced the winning team of the 2013 and Julius Shulman for the Emerging Talent Award. The top seven architecture schools in Los Angeles each selected a team of students to participate in a civic-themed, three-day design competition to develop plans for a Continuing Care Retirement Community on the MLK Medical Center Campus.
