The second edition of the Independence Day series came out on June 24th. Jeff Goldblum plays again David Levinson who investigates a mother ship heading to earth. Using technology that was developed more then twenty years ago, the world was able to have defense against the approaching aliens. The president of the United States was able to ban together a group of scientists and pilots to bring the planet earth to peace. Unfortunately, this sequel did not include Will Smith. Smith originally agreed to do the project but opted out as the script was more developed. The actor had just finished a science fiction piece with his son and the new Independence Day script had too many overlying themes. Bill Pullman returns as does other actors but Randy Quaid was barely in the sequel. Olson Visual created many graphics for the film. One was a large banner that hung… read more →

Warcraft is a film based on the well-known video game, World of Warcraft. It is one of the most played games ever and it’s popularity inspired the new film adaptation. It is directed by Duncan Jones and stars Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Travis Fimmel, and Robert Kazinsky. The movie shows how humans interact with orcs, a fantasy creature. It took ten years to make this picture with partnership starting in 2006 between Legendary Pictures and Blizzard Entertainment, the game’s developer. Unfortunately, the reviews have shown that the movie does not follow the video game. So, gamers might be sadly disappointed. On the lighter side, the special effects are incredible! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will hit theaters June 3rd of 2016. This action comedy stars Megan Fox, Will Arnett, Stephen Amell, Tyler Perry, and Laura Linney. It is another movie to the TMNT empire that started as a toy franchise in the 1980s. After the 2014 film had exceeded financial expectations, producers gave the green light for the Out of Shadows sequel. Audiences should be warned that the cartoon characters are not exactly the same as prior renditions. Instead, they are beefed up looking and aren’t as cute and sweet as before. The critics have pointed out that it is more based on nostalgia for the franchise then trying to create an entertaining sequel. Although, the census is that is better then the last one and creates a new younger audience to enjoy the “Cowabunga” one-liners. Olson Visual created multiple graphics for the film. The critics have bashed the all-anticipated “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” but some feel it was entertaining. The film was announced at the famous Comic-Con in 2013. This was right after the release of Man of Steel and was supposed to be inspired by The Dark Knight Returns book. The new super hero movie was supposed to show a different Batman from the other previous films. That is, Batman would have a reboot with a different personality bu this might be the reason for the negative reviews. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice premiered in Mexico City on March 19, 2016 and in the US on March 25th. The critics responded by saying the plot was predictable, the characters weren’t developed enough, and the action was weak. There were many critics, including Forbes, who stated that the visuals were amazing. Also, the fans raved about the film. So, the… read more →
