Olson Visual has spent the past year forging new frontiers in the graphic industry. They become G7 certified and continue to pledge their green initiative by installing a photovoltaic system on the roof of their offices. When looking back upon the projects of 2012, OV participated in this year’s biggest box-office hit movies. Here are some highlights of 2012: To celebrate Relativity Media’s release of MIRROR MIRROR with Julia Roberts, Olson Visual staged the beautiful in-theatre costume & prop exhibits. These were installed at Regal’s Brea, LA Live Theatres and the Rave 18 Theatre in Southern California.
Olson Visual is known for being the best in the graphic industry but they are also recognized for being proactive in the green movement. The company participates in numerous programs. Olson Visual’s mission is to work with other organizations that are concerned with the environment. Together, they take necessary actions towards reusing, re-purposing, and re-imagining the usage of scraps. This helps reduce the devastating impact that materials have on our landfills.

Olson Visual is the leader in using green friendly materials and a pioneer in eliminating landfill consumption. They also believe in converting power to solar energy. They installed a photovoltaic system on the roof of their offices at 13000 Hawthorne in the beginning of 2012. Now 85% of the company is run exclusively on solar power. These large panels use light energy or photons, from the rays of the sun to create electricity. Most of the materials from the panels can be recycled. This includes: metals, glass and semiconductors. They are the innovator of using safe and clean printing products. From water-based inks to toxin free canvas, OV has kept both indoor and outdoor applications eco friendly.
